Objectifs

Secure the vehicle
Know the operating principle of electric traction circuits
Know how to use diagnostic tools for batteries and the powertrain

Pré-requis

Preferably, have a good knowledge of the generality of electric vehicles
Preferably, have taken one of the training courses ref: V600E or V601E and V602E or V603E
Preferably, have followed the E652E training or have an authorization (B1VL / B2VL / BCL / BRL / BEL)

Programme

1. CAN networks

CAN “vehicle” networks: chassis, bodywork, GMP, Full Elec .....
Detail of the multiplexed components of the kinematic chain

2. Power components

The traction power components: "Motor, batteries, inverter, converter ....."
Load socket or pantograph

3. Cooling circuits

The cooling loop of the electric motor and the power units

4. Driving environment

Lights and pictograms specific to a Full electric vehicle.
The different fault screens

5. Specific operations

Management and transfer of electrical energy between the power components: battery, electric motor, etc.
Special modes: creeping mode or slope maintenance (Hill Holder)

6. The diagnostic tool

Presentation of the traction chain and battery diagnostic software

7. Vehicle application

Visualize the components of the Siemens traction chain
Put the vehicle in safety to be able to troubleshoot
Reading and clearing faults with diagnostic software for batteries and powertrain
